Ronya Othmann

Ronya Othmann writes poetry, prose and essays, works as a journalist and has already been awarded the MDR Literary Prize, the Caroline Schlegel Prize for Essay and the Open Mike for Poetry. In 2018 she was part of the jury of the International Film Festival in Duhok, Kurdistan, Iraq and is now the youngest winner of the audience award of the Bachmann-competition. She publishes among others in the taz, the literary supplement from DER SPIEGEL, Zeit Online, edit and glitter. She is currently studying at the German Literature Institute Leipzig.
